Milan Kundera once told memory will always struggle against the forgetfulness of the past. There was a moment in our life in Morning Star where our past memories were cherished once. That is none other than the day of transplantation of the paddy seedlings. All the theology students of the morning star collage were gathered in the basketball court on 4th August at 6.30 am in the early morning and Rev.Fr. Fabian Toppo invoked the blessings of the lord along with Rev. Fr. Sylvester Toppo and Rev. Fr. Harsha Bardhan Manji. Each plot was divided and was given to each batch of the theologians. Lion share of the fathers and brothers come from the agricultural background and therefore the transplantation was not a heavy nut to be cracked rather it was very obvious that how the fathers, brothers and sisters who always spent majority of the time for the studies carry the mind of a farmer within them. Moreover it was the time where the unity of the brothers was nourished, where all rubbed their shoulders each other beyond their cultural background and language. Fathers, brothers and sisters displayed the farmer within them in the field and shared the glorious memories of their past especially the times of transplantation and harvesting in their own homes and villages. There was a tea break at 10.00 am and all rested for a while and returned to the field and completed the transplantation by 11.00 am. There was a thanksgiving mass at 11.45 am followed by lunch.
